Wordpress.com Banned in Turkey
People trying to visit WordPress.com from Turkey are seeing this message: “Access to this site has been suspended in accordance with decision no: 2007/195 of T.C. Fatih 2.Civil Court of First Instance.” I didn’t realize Turkey had a great firewall like China. This is really unfortunate because we have a really passionate Turkish community that gets about 12 million pageviews a month. Any good tips for people to get around the block?
I never heard that bans like that were happening in Turkey, although I read somewhere that Youtube was banned inTurkey for a few days as well.
For the moment the best tip for them would be the use of a free proxy server although it’s never the best solution.
Let’s hope that this will be something temporary and bloggers from Turkey will be free to use Wordpress.com soon…

I am from Turkey. There’s no freedom of speech, freedom of expression, freedom of thought in Turkey. We also don’t have a real democracy as the army is very powerful and consistently threatening governments. I’ve started to hate my own country for a time being. I’ll escape the hell out of here when I have the opportunity.

Who robbed me and killed Wolskiy?
My mother died early. I remember when I was told about it being 5 y.o., I cried a lot. I was scared and felt emptyness. Did I saw how she was killed? I remember hard that I am hugged. Someone very close and relative, who feels big pain also. Tells me that when I grew up someone find out medicine for people not to die, and you will never die becuse I love you very much. Who was it? Grandfather? Grandmother? Father? My own father had strong goldy hair, and very bright not ordinary blue eyes. I can’t understand how Linda Ewans, american actor, looks like identically as my aunt, and father’s sister Galina. Exactly that sister is similar to my father.

She worked in twin towers several years for that moment. But the most important that she was a daughter of director of the school in Vilnius, where my children were. In 2002 security officers of George Bush came to Lithuania and organazing ”accidential” meeting with me and my son, in April of 2005 Mrs. Condoleeza Rize’s security officers came to Lithuania, organizing “accidential” looking with my son. There were Valdas Adamkus that time for several years as a president of Lithuania - citizen of the USA and a member of Republican Party of the USA, he lived in Chicago.
